Résumé |
This text presents a comprehensive approach to handling chords (relatively small collections of symbolic pitches) and spectra (very large collections of frequencies and amplitudes) within the same polymorphic system. It also allows to represent and handle relative structures (list of symbolic intervals, or lists of scalers of a reference frequency). It also introduces a series of descriptors of chords and spectra, partially derived from ongoing research, and partially part of the author's compositional system. Through, matching and contraint generation, similar structures sharing the same constrained features could be generated and used in Marco Stroppa's compositions. |
